The Elizabeth Moro campaign to unseat state Rep. Craig Williams got a boost Sunday when Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro came to town endorsing her. This is the second time Moro, a democrat, is challenging the Republican incumbent for the 160thLegislative District seat.
Shapiro joined Moro in the barn near the Moro home on McFadden Drive in Pennsbury Township to address scores of supporters.
Moro gave a brief interview before the governor’s arrival. She said she had a handful of issues for her campaign.
“I’m running to flip the seat, to help Gov. Shapiro lower healthcare costs, continue to grow our economy, invest in education and get stuff done,” she said.
